Flash Firmware
Dride Flasher is the official tool for restoring your Dride to factory firmware. It is fully autonomous — it downloads the latest drideOS image, installs the required USB drivers and flashes the unit in a single operation.
Use Dride Flasher whenever you want to recover a unit, roll back to a clean state, or update to the latest official drideOS release.

Before You Start
- A Dride unit and a USB-C data cable (not a charge-only cable).
- A working internet connection — the flasher pulls the latest image on launch.
- On Windows, run the app as Administrator and accept all driver installation prompts.
- On macOS, you may need to allow the app under System Settings → Privacy & Security the first time you launch it.
How to Flash
- Install and open Dride Flasher.
- Power off your Dride.
- Connect the unit to your computer with a USB-C cable while holding it in flashing mode (the app will guide you).
- Click Flash and confirm the warning dialog.
- The flasher will download the latest image, install drivers if needed, and write the firmware.
- Wait for the Flash complete message before disconnecting the device.
Do not unplug the unit while flashing — interrupting the process can leave the device in an unrecoverable state.

Troubleshooting
- Stuck or failing on Windows — right-click the app and choose Run as administrator, then accept every UAC / driver prompt.
- Driver install fails — reboot the computer and run the flasher again so Windows can complete the WinUSB driver setup.
- Try a different USB port or cable — flashing requires a true USB data connection; some cables and front-panel ports are charge-only.
- Still stuck? Post your logs on the Dride forum and we’ll take a look.
